Joined 16-Stitch Yo-yos

Stitches Used (US Terminology)
  • Floating Double Crochet (Fdc)
  • Double Crochet (dc)
  • Slip Stitch (slst)
Note: all stitches are worked into the current Floating Ring.
  1. Foundation Row: (Fdc, 7dc, breakaway to next yo-yo) 6 times.
  2. Return Row: Continuing around current yo-yo: (8dc, slst between current yo-yo and the next one, continue to next yo-yo) 5 times, on last yo-yo: 4dc.
  3. Joined Foundation Row: Fdc, 3dc, breakaway to next yo-yo: (Fdc, 3dc, counting back 16dcs from hook, slst into 16th dc; 4dc, breakaway to next yo-yo) 5 times.
  4. Work Return Row as in step 2.
  5. (work a Joined Foundation Row (step 3), work a Return Row (step2)) 4 times (6 rows total).
  6. Finish Left Edge: Continuing around current yo-yo: * 8dc, slst between current yo-yo and the next one, continue to next yo-yo. Repeat from * to last yo-yo. In last yo-yo: 4dc, slst into next st, finish off yarn.
