Now that you have the hang of making Floating Rings, and you understand the basic sequence for crocheting small motifs continuously, you\u2019re ready to ramp things up a bit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Making Motifs Bigger<\/span><\/h6>\n

It\u2019s possible to use Breakaway techniques to crochet motifs with more than one round. To get a basic understanding of how to do this, let\u2019s add a second round to the Training Wheel motif you have been practicing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fortunately most of the steps will be very familiar to you, and will seem pretty much like business as usual.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, to crochet these 2-round motifs continuously, there are only a couple of things that will be different: the way you work the first stitch of each round, and the point at which you breakaway from one motif to the next one.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
