They\u2019re crocheters who have discovered my game-changing secret for working automatically-joined motifs without breaking the yarn between each one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is the secret? <\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s called a Floating Ring, or \u201cFring\u201d for short, and it gives you a way to crochet a bunch of motifs without having to sew them all together to make an item.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This means you can get into the flow of stringing one motif after the other as if you were crocheting a back-and-forth kind of stitch. So if\u00a0you are put off by some projects because you don\u2019t like the tedium of sewing a heaping pile of motifs together, then my Breakaway Crochet techniques are for you!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>What can you make?<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Floating Rings can be used to crochet all kinds of motifs such as simple yo-yos, traditional granny squares and even intricate lacy hexagons.
